Lovely camp, beautiful nature and excellent guiding.
We stayed at Kwihala Camp for 4 nights and absolutely loved everything about our stay there. The guiding was excellent and we spent our days "alone" at the savannah without seeing anything else than the wild life. The camp itself is also excellent with an abundance of great food and great service. Thanks to all at the camp for an unforgettable experience."

Excellent camp, 45 minutes from the airstrip, tastefully furnished and very comfortable, everything very good about the service, the staff and the manager. The guide, Festo, did an excellent job, very well trained and professional. The Reserve itself is simply amazing, so far one of the best safari I ever done even if the park was quite green due to the early rain."

True island paradise experience!
Was a magical few nights with plenty of good memories and experiences. Once you reach the resort, you forget everything else and live through this matrix of multiple shades of blue and white sand beaches. All your standard water activities are available and I must add it is rated to be in the top 5 spots for snorkeling and diving in the world. The service is prompt and wonderful. The food is heavily Indian influenced which just made me tear up. It was that good. The rooms are majestically sized. The real highlight of the room is the sea-front hammock. Just for the hammock you could go all the way here. Be ready to get up close and personal with bush babies and giant lizards (the docile kind). Be armed and ready with your 'jambo jambos' and 'ahsante sana's!'"

Outstanding service and great game drive viewing! Tented accommodation very comfortable. Was dusty and windy at the end of a long dry season but staff stood out with nothing being too much trouble despite difficult conditions. Highly recommended! "

We stayed in Matemwe Retreat for 6 nights at the start of our honeymoon and could not have loved it more. Our butler was George who is brilliant and always there for everything we needed and more! He made a special effort to arrange dinners and lunches in different locations around the retreat and lodge but also gave us plenty of privacy.
The villa itself is everything you need - spacious, extremely comfortable, wonderful roof top pool and relaxation area (this may be the best part of the villa!), plus a wonderful outside relaxation area downstairs, the bed is comfortable and the towels and linen are good quality. The Retreat also catered really well for me (I am vegan) and although the food was simple it was ideal for a hot beach holiday and on the evenings when we ate at the main lodge, George and the chef were very careful to ensure that there was delicious food for me.
I cannot recommend the Retreat enough - it is a perfect honeymoon location and we loved every minute."

Magic Safari Experience
We have just returned from our fourth trip to 'Mara Bush Houses'. This trip we had a week in Acacia and two weeks in Topi, as we did in Feb 2014. After that visit we left as family. This latest visit was like returning to our second home!
From the moment that we disembarked at the airstrip we were reunited with family.
The next 3 weeks proved to be our best safari ever in East Africa. We experienced the most fantastic game viewing moments ever including 2 cheetah kills (1 all on our own, miles from anybody else) and the very rare sighting of a leopard kill only 20 yards from us.
The whole visit to our second home was enhanced by brilliant guiding, attentive staff at both houses, very comfortable surroundings and excellent food. We are looking forward to our next visit in July!

Days in Paradise!
The Team, the resort, the food, the drives with Salaash and co driver, you really spoiled us!
It was sad to say goodbye to the guys, I hope so much to come back again. We will never forget our time with you!
Thank you and well done.

Sayari was spectacular in every way. Our entire experience there was brilliant - the manager Julie is South African so we had loads in common and had great fun with her! She also went out of her way to make us feel special and at home, she even arranged for us both to get a massage on Sayari and on our last night arranged for us to have cocktails on the banks of the Mara River with 50 or so hippos hanging around.
The food was brilliant (the chef Fredrick took extra interest in making me delicious vegan food and the quality was always excellent), all of the staff were brilliant but our guide Carlson was by far the best guide either of us have ever met. He is super knowledgeable, really passionate about his job, interesting, funny and just a great guy to hang out with. We experienced game viewing in a way that neither of us were expecting - the Serengeti really pulled out all the stops for us and showed us what it has to offer. Tanzania really does have game viewing in a way that SA cannot rival.
We would not hesitate to recommend Sayari and would go back at any time!

We arrived in Kimondo Camp after six days on an adventure through Tanzania--wondering why we had booked three nights here. After all, we had seen so much at Tarangire, Manyara, and Ngorogoro Crater. Richard John and his staff put us at ease immediately with their smiles and informative briefing.
It just kept getting better and better from there to a point that we did not want to leave. The tents are more than luxuriously comfortable, the food was fantastic, and the view was literally to die for. All of the heavenly touches made us feel the Africa that we had come to experience.
We never felt in any danger even though we were within a quarter of a mile of the largest line of wildebeests and zebras I had ever seen. If you are at all wondering whether it is worth the cost and distance to experience the real Serengeti, make sure you stay at Kimondo Camp. You will not be sorry."

The team at Kimondo Camp is fantastic, doing such an amazing job, always willing to help and with such big smiles. They always come up with very good surprises, and they are full of attention. The food was so delicious, I still wonder how the chefs could provide so amazing dishes in the middle of nowhere.
The camp is in a spectacular place, the tents are very comfortable and very well equipped. I had an amazing and unforgettable experience.
