Migration Monday Update - 03 March 2014This week's great photo comes from our repeat guests Barry and Michelle Miller, showing us just again all the potential dangers that the Wildebeest have to deal with on their routes. Thanks Barry and Michelle for sharing this with us! You can also see some of their other photos on their website

This week Ubuntu Camp guides report that they have not had much rain this week; the area is still nice and green, but a bit dusty with some wind blowing in the mornings. The big herds are still in their Kakesio/NCA area and the valley in front of their mess tent is still full of thousands of Wildebeest. They also report that the calving is slowly coming towards an end, and that it is hard to find Wildebeest still calving.

Our Olakira Camp - right in the heart of Ndutu - also reports that they have not had rain for the past 4 days which makes driving around a bit easier. In the Ndutu area they report to have still seen some Wildebeest giving birth and some others to follow, the herds in the Ndutu area can be found on the Makao Plains as well as all the way to Kusini.

Till next week,
Joe du Plessis, Head Guide Asilia
