This week’s Great Migration update comes from our guides at Dunia Camp
and Ubuntu Camp
. They have told us that the wildebeests and zebra have now moved into the Western Corridor, with a few groups still hanging around the Sopa area. We also have reports of big migration herds being spotted in the Kirawira, Grumeti and the Sabora areas. Dunia’s resident guide Makubi reports that the game in the area is really great and within just five days more than 100 predators (!) were spotted in different areas around the camp!
Blessed, guide at Ubuntu Camp, has said that now is a good time to visit the Western part of the Serengeti as the migration is arriving along with many zebra and other wildlife, many of the males are now fighting because it is mating season, so there is lots of excitement happening as we speak.
Keep your eyes peeled for the next update and let us know if you have anything to add!
