This week’s Monday Migration update comes all the way from Ubuntu Camp’s guide Venant.
He has said that the wildebeest are very well distributed all over the Western corridor, there have been many sightings of wildebeest crossing the Grumeti river Grumeti river and making their way towards the Grumeti reserve and the areas that surround Nyasirori.
There are big herds all around the surrounding Ubuntu Camp plains where there is still a lot to eat and keep the wildebeest and other animals full and happy!
Venant has said that they have very high expectations that the herd will stick around for a couple of weeks before the camp moves to the Northern Serengeti because many herds can still be seen from as far as Soroi Luxury Camp which is about 70km away from Ubuntu.
Keep your eyes peeled for next weeks Migration update and please don’t hesitate to send in any of your experiences with the herds!
