Migration Monday Update - 25 Nov 2013Welcome to this week's Serengeti Wildebeest Migration update.

The Wildebeest Migration is still spread out over a big area in the More Northern and Northwestern areas of the Serengeti. Everyday we can see more and more cloud build up in the greater Arusha area meaning that it is also building up and will hopefully start raining in the Ndutu and NCA areas of the Serengeti ecosystem.

The bulk of the Migration is still situated in the Western Corridor of the Serengeti, with herds spread out all the way from Mbalageti to the Kirawira airstrip. Good size herds are also still found in the Northern Serengeti Kogatende area as those herds have decided not to move further South yet, this past week Sayari Camp has seen good size crossings through the Mara River of herds coming from the Northern side back to the South side of the river but still staying in the area, the photo attached shows one of these fantastic crossings taken by Asilia Resident Guide Lewis Mangaba.
