We will return to Olivers because it is a wonderful camp with excellent management, staff, guides and vehicles plus superb game viewing opportunities in an un-crowded area - hard to beat."

Great service, great food, great safaris with James. Clea, Conway and the entire staff spared no effort for our comfort and pleasure. I suggest September as the migration is active but the park is less crowded. Most of the times we were alone or with very few other around a sighting."

Much has been written about camp manager Pascal – and it is all true. His background in restaurant and hotel management shows. Pascal is wonderful at making all of his guests feel at home. The food service is impeccable and the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Olakira."

The chef at Ubuntu is absolutely amazing! He could be a chef in a top New York City restaurant. He baked a beautiful cake for our anniversary and delivered it to us with great fanfare. We enjoyed the camp fire every night. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time and comfortable."

What makes Rekero so special? First and foremost; the staff. Clea and Conway, the managers, are exceptional in their attention to details. For example, on our first morning there, they set up a private table for two overlooking the river for breakfast. Brilliant!"

As a serious amateur wildlife photographer, I got exactly what I wanted: 4 fantastic days with hot coffee in my luxurious tent at 6am, escorted to my vehicle by 6:30 for first light photo opportunities with my driver/guide Martin and spotter Risa. I thought I was pretty good at spotting game but these two had me feeling like a beginner, they were excellent."

Rekero camp staff made us feel like family, comfortable and safe. The family tent was out of this world with the animals so close at night, the night guides kept us safe. (…) All staff at Rekero are our friends and this experience will remain with our family forever and we plan to return."

All in all I have to say that all of the 5 star reviews are there for a reason. This camp and the staff are by far the best that I've ever dealt with. I would not only recommend this camp to anyone visiting the Mara, but I plan on returning again in the near future!"

We went snorkelling at Mnemba twice which was superb and also did the private trip which included snorkelling and a beautiful lunch on a private stretch of beach- absolute bliss. All in all, this was one of the best trips we've done and we will definitely be returning. Thank you to all at Matemwe for a brilliant getaway."
