Unforgettable and Amazing!
Camp Naboisho was the perfect beginning to our 6-week trip across Africa in January 2014. Roelof and Helen, the camp managers, did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The tents were spacious and very comfortable. The beds were excellent. Since we were fortunate to be the only guests Helen arranged dinner according to whenever we returned from our game drives and were ready to eat. Either one or both Helen and Roelof would join us for breakfast and dinner telling us about the Naboisho Conservancy, how the camp functioned and their experiences. Usually we would sit around the campfire visiting before dinner.
Our 2 drivers/guides, Dennis and Wilson were excellent. They were lots of fun to be with as well as being excellent at finding the animals day and night. We saw lots of animals. It was a treat to be able to go on an evening game drive. As the sun was setting we stopped, Dennis and Wilson set up a table, placed a tablecloth on it and set out drinks and snacks. We watched the sun set before continuing on our game drive.
There were so many special moments that will never be forgotten that were created by Helen, Roelof, Dennis, Wilson and the rest of the Naboisho team."

Oliver's Camp is Awesome!
My wife and I just returned from a Safari from Tanzania, and stayed 3 nights at Oliver's Camp. From the moment we got there Justin and Jackie welcomed us and made us feel like family. The food was superb, and Jackie even was kind enough to give my wife recipes of some of the outstanding dishes we had. The safari experiences we had with Joshua and Blessed were terrific, and we will treasure the memories of the game viewing always. The room was very spacious and clean, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend Oliver's camp highly."

We arrived not knowing what to expect since the approach was daunting, What we found was the most wonderful, relaxing resort on the water in our private villa, with superb staff, management and food. Martin was our outstanding, pleasant and attentive "butler." His response to any need was "no problem!" Sandy, the manager, made sure that the resort ran efficiently but with a very personal touch. While this was not a honeymoon for us, nonetheless we felt as if we were honeymooners. This was the most perfect place to spend time post safari. If we're ever in "the neighborhood" again you can bet we will stay there! I envy anyone who has the opportunity to stay there since we left."

New Year's Safari from Ubuntu Camp, the Best in Serengeti
Our days at Ubuntu Camp in the Serengeti were perfect. Mark and his staff anticipated our every need. The food was excellent, and special accommodations were gladly made for my diet. Mark and/or a member of staff were always there when we returned from game drives with hot towels, ready to deliver hot water to our tent for showers. Everything was done for us including our laundry so that we could concentrate on a half dozen or so of the most productive picture-taking game drives you can imagine: the migration, cheetah, giraffes, zebra, lions, wild dogs, lion cubs, dozens of birds, and on and on to absolute perfection. Great sense of community with the other four or so guest couples and families; we spent a festive New Year's Eve there, and Mark & Co. made sure to have special sundowner drinks and roasted goat ribs etc. to help celebrate the holiday. The fact we had heavy rain late that night just added to the fun. Great place to bring in the new year, on a ridge overlooking the Endless Plain.
Thanks Mark. You guys are absolutely THE BEST!!!!"

The camp is absolutely gorgeous and is a permanent camp. There is a main lounging area with comfy sofas and chairs open to the great outdoors of course, and an eating tent. We are greeted with scented washcloths and cinnamon apple juice on arrival. We stay in tent #3 and is a triple. The beds and pillows are comfy and the tent spacious. The front area has a couch and couple of chairs. The bathroom has bucket shower, sink, flush toilet and good towels. There are a few lamps. The camp is run on solar power. There is a 24 hr charge station. The bathroom has many amenities including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, laundry soap. There is complimentary laundry which we take advantage of.
At supper they provide complimentary alcoholic drinks and red and white wine. Meals are very tasty and the ambience is fantastic! The staff is amazing and very friendly. They truly make you feel welcome! During the day you are free to walk around camp, at night they provide an escort which you can call with a walkie talkie system. I would highly recommend this camp!"

Spectacular. Don't miss this camp!
This was my first time to the Serengeti but not the first time to camp... If you can call it that! Dunia camp is truly a magical place. From the people (Angel is an angel) to the food to the accommodations, this place is like no other. We were fortunate to be there during the migration and could watch the wildebeests as we lay in bed. Pretty cool. Here you are in the middle of what feels like miles and miles and miles away from anything and you are served gourmet meals. I agree with everyone who has written (and sent some very awesome pictures too), Dunia Camp is spectacular. Thanks to the entire staff! You all are fantastic!"

Excellent in Every Way!
I have been many times to Rubondo Island in the last 30 years and never has it had such a charming, comfortable, luxurious and all round great place. You feel completely exclusive and the Hosts and staff are fantastic. We stayed only 3 nights and would have wished to stay many more and were sad to leave.
Thanks so much for a perfect weekend!!! Thanks to Janine, Henk and all the staff!"

Best Place to Stay In Masai Mara!
Topi House is a wonderful place to stay. The best view you could imagine on a safari holiday from the front porch - and lunch is served in the gardens overviewing the plains of the Mara and the escarpment, under the shade of an acacia tree. Could not ask for anywhere more "Out of Africa"!
Very friendly staff. Expert guides, some of the most professional and knowledgable around. And Topi House is located in one of the best areas of the Mara - wonderful scenery and big cats right on your doorstep, and it's far away from the big tented camps so there are fewer cars around giving you a more exclusive and natural experience around the animals. Could never imagine staying anywhere else in the Masai Mara!"

Spent 4 nights at Sayari at the start of our African adventure. First impressions, arrived at the local airstrip to be picked up by our guide who summarily invited us on a game drive back to the camp. We were immediately immersed in the Serengeti from the minute we arrived. The camp itself is in an ideal position, located just off the Mara river, with abundant wildlife right on our doorstep, (literally!) The staff were most attentive and food was excellent. Indeed, my wife, who requires a gluten and dairy free diet, received outstanding meals prepared specifically for her. The rooms in camp were spacious and clean; and staff were on call for any requirement we had. Our guides were knowledgable and very friendly, quite willing to adjust plans to meet our requirements; and to allowing ample time to allow us to take it all in. We both loved the experience and would not hesitate to return."

Be pleasantly surprised
Would echo the comments of other travelers in the luxury, service and food quality of Dunia. Richard, the manager, and his team are amazing and try to anticipate every guest's needs, including specific food requests which is incredible given how remote the camp is. Tip: The pre-dinner campfire and the communal dinners are great experiences, but the staff can also prepare a private dinner slightly away from the other guests if you want privacy."
