"We just left Dunia Camp so it is fresh on our minds. Peter the manager and Richard the assistant manager are just superb hosts who will make sure that you have a tremendous time as their guests. The tent facilities are spotless and we truly enjoyed our bucket showers, a first for us. Simba the chef will make sure that the meals he prepares are fine for you, and they were indeed fabulous. My wife and I are on special diets and they took care of everything. The service is personal, flexible, extremely attentive and caring. My wife fell ill while at the camp, and I have never seen such attention and care lavished upon her to make sure that all was being done to find out what the illness was (it turned out to be dehydration) and to get her well again. I arrived at the camp my usual grumpy self, and I left raving about there wonderful people at the Dunia Camp and the wonderful memories they helped create for me while there."

“My Favorite Camp!” | Lynn (US) 6 January 2012 | Dunia Camp “My Favorite Camp!” | Lynn (US) 6 January 2012 | Dunia Camp

"Dunia Camp was my favorite of all the camps we stayed at in the Serengeti. From the moment we arrived to our departure we were pampered and looked after with excellent and welcoming service. We stayed for 3 nights and wish we could have had one more night just to stay in camp and enjoy the surroundings and the main tents array of books and games. On arrival we were greeted with a cool drink and then led to our table for two and served the most delicious lunch. The camp located in a secluded area in the Serengeti Plains is very quiet and relaxing. Each morning we were awakened with hot coffee and cookies set at our tent door. Then breakfast in the dining tent was fabulous as were all the meals! At night a camp fire was built, drinks and hors d' orveus were served before dinner, that was served around a large table in the dinning tent. Because the camp is small it is very intimate and easy to share stories of the days events. On our last morning we were offered a tour of the kitchen, laundry, office and scheduling, and solar tents, quite amazing. This was truly an "Out of Africa" experience that I had hoped for!"

"Magic in the Serengeti" | Katie (US), 30 December 2011 | Dunia Camp

"Beyond chic and amazing. I left my heart at Dunia Camp. Peter, Richard and the entire staff go above and beyond to make even a slightly anxious traveler like myself feel right at home among the unbelievable wildlife smack-dab in the middle of the endless plains. The tent decor blew us away, the food was sumptuous and elegant (Chef Simba is a star!) and the setting is not to be believed. We danced and sang around the dinner table with the staff, enjoyed drinks and snacks around the fire and slept like babies under the Serengeti stars. If you're going to Tanzania ... do NOT miss out."
