Perfect location for an outstanding safari
It is a luxurious tented camp with a swimming pool. The view from the lounge is stunning. Tents have wooden flooring with a deck to relax, and running water in the taps. What a blessing!"

Honeymoon heaven
The retreat itself is stunning. So much so that all our plans to get out and about to see the island were quickly forgotten in favour of lazing around our private 2 storey villa and being waited on hand and foot by our wonderful butler Iddi. Iddi was the ultimate professional but at the same time became a friend by the end of the holiday."

Matemwe Lodge
I am so glad we went with Matemwe. Barefoot luxury does not begin to describe it - (I didn't wear shoes the whole stay). We were in 1 of 12 private bungalows on the water’s edge. From our arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink served in a coconut (this just set the tone for our island holiday) to our departure (yes tears did flow) we were made to feel welcome and comfortable."

SETTING THE BAR FOR THE AFRICA EXPERIENCE
I recently took my 94 year old mother on a safari, (her idea), and had been thrilled with the camps we visited in Tanzania, didn't think they could be topped. But Naboisho Camp proved me wrong. The education about the conservancy was so interesting. The animals were visible (and audible) from our tent. And then there were Daniel and Radika, our guides, who were so helpful and fun. Just can't say enough about what a wonderful place this was!"

Best ever luxury tented camp
Having been on many safaris previously, with various levels of lodging, I must say that Dunia strikes exactly the right balance between safari luxury and style, while remaining true to outdoor ambience."

Spectacular adventure
Words cannot express how spectacular it was to stay in their luxury tented camp with such a friendly, attentive staff. Nothing was more magnificent than hearing the lions, hyenas and zebras at night, knowing that we were very safe and secure. Also amazing was that the chef prepared wonderful meals in spite of having his kitchen in a tent!"

Incredible experience in the bush
The staff are so helpful and always greet you with a smile. Nathan, our guide, was very experienced (and great fun!) and we were lucky enough to see two wildebeest crossings during our three day safari."

Can’t say enough good things
Sayari Camp was by far our favorite. The "tents" were nicer than most hotel rooms. (…) It was great on our afternoon breaks from being in the jeep to just sit out on the "patio" of the tent and watch the animals. Clare, John and Eric went out of their way to make you feel at home. And, on top of everything else, the food was excellent. We can't recommend this camp enough."

What a fantastic place to start a safari
We will return to Olivers because it is a wonderful camp with excellent management, staff, guides and vehicles plus superb game viewing opportunities in an un-crowded area - hard to beat."

Highly recommended
Great service, great food, great safaris with James. Clea, Conway and the entire staff spared no effort for our comfort and pleasure. I suggest September as the migration is active but the park is less crowded. Most of the times we were alone or with very few other around a sighting."
