My family (husband and 2 boys) visited Naboisho about 2 weeks ago and if there were more than 5 stars this camp deserves it! Helen and Roelof are amazing hosts; thinking of all of the things that would make this a special experience. Our guides, Daniel and Lucas, were so engaging with us and our boys (age 10 & 13). All of the staff, especially Moses, Albert and Johnson, were very fun to be with and played games, shot arrows and made fire with our boys. I am pretty sure Daniel is magic because we saw every animal we wanted on our drives including a cheetah take down a grand gazelle and some elder lions "kicking out" the young lions so they can find their own pride. Epic! I cannot recommend this camp and the wonderful people enough!"

Amazing family adventure
We are an adoptive family with 3 children from Kenya & Ethiopia. This was the highlight of our 3 week adventure. We had the pleasure to spend time at a village where our daughters played and sang with the local children. Oh, and the pool was an additional blessing. We were spoiled; 3 course meals, chai, homemade sweets, evening fires, warm water bottles in your beds. The Mara Bush Houses are our new favorite place on earth!"

We spent four nights here in early January. The camp is in an excellent location right in the National Park which did make for some interesting visits from the local wildlife. We had an elephant outside our tent within minutes of arriving. Then there was the lion that stole Sara's chair from outside her tent. The terrain and wildlife is so varied and the best thing is you very rarely see another vehicle we spent well over an hour watching two cheetahs crossing a river without another vehicle in sight. Sara was an excellent host and out guides Lorenzo and Doudi (trainee guide) were brilliant. Lorenzo although Italian certainly had an English sense of humour and his knowledge was first class. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He clearly loved his job and wanted you to enjoy the Park as much as he did. Doudi was also enthusiastic and certainly entertained us with his tales of the trials a Masai warrior has to go through to become a man. The tents were good and the food excellent. Still in awe of the chef making a soufflé with very limited facilities."

5 star tenting!
Our travel to Tanzania, Africa was truly amazing. The Stay at Ubuntu Camp on the Serengeti was a definite highpoint. The accommodations were excellent with all the amenities! Mark and staff were grand, and we were treated like royalty. The animal sightings unbelievable!!
Would we return? Absolutely!"

This place is everything it says on the tin and more. We stayed in the Retreat - our own villa, plunge pool and sunbathing on the flat roof with long sofa seating in the shade and bedroom, bathroom, outside verandah on ground level. Views of the ocean and the fishermen and palm trees - bliss. We had our own 'butler' George who was brilliant - very personal, tailored attention - comes when you want something or meal times and stays away when you don't! The whole team are very friendly and although we only met other guests on the BBQ night when we went down to the lodge for dinner - everyone seemed mellow and relaxed. We stayed four nights - and will definitely return. The Spa is stupendous - the messages are to die for if you like it strong to relive the tension of two weeks safari- ing"

Top Class Stay and Experience!
What can one say! We stayed at both Mara and Acacia houses for 3 nights and had a great time at both. Perfect for family stays. They are private and you have lots of space, large bathrooms and well designed open plan living areas as well as a large green lawns where children can run and play. The swimming pool is great for parents and children alike and is solar heated. Meal times was bliss and well presented great tasting food was served outside on the large veranda, inside or at the pool! Food is of amazing quality and top class with friendly staff attending ones every need.
The wildlife experience and scenery is world class!! We saw mating leopards, a pride of 12 lions and cheetah during our stay, not too mention all the other species there in abundance. The viewing is easy on the wide open plains. Elephants in huge numbers, herds of between 30-50 strong! Guides and vehicles are great and they pack really good picnic meals to have during a game drive. Traveling in January is one of the best times to be in the Mara, as the rains are coming to an end, and you have this magical place almost all to yourself as the holiday and migration crowds are not there anymore. The view from the highest point in the Mara during sunset is stunning.
I am a wildlife photographer, and this place will keep you busy and keep the shutter going as there are excellent opportunities for great quality shots around every corner, be it a leopard, lions elephant, giraffes or the landscape beauty, its all on your doorstep! They have a natural spring feeding a waterhole in front of both houses, and there are wildlife and birdlife visiting throughout the day, you can view and photograph wildlife from your veranda!
For sure THE place to stay for families, groups or couples that need privacy, great service, great accommodation and location, fantastic food, and top class wildlife viewing with great guiding!
Excellent stay and highly recommended! Thank you to everyone for the attention and care, it was awesome. We will be back! "

I cannot fault Rekero camp, site, accommodation, nor the staff & guide. All were fantastic! The tent was a dream, the food heavenly & plentiful, our Maasai guide, Martin, was so knowledgeable, his English so good & his manner so polite. He knew about everything, plants, birds, animals, habitat, & more, I learned SO MUCH! We even discussed philosophy... hmmmm. I saw all the Big 5 + much much more. I have incredible memories & astounding photos! I loved every minute of my 4 days there & would LOVE to go back!"

Great camp, friendly staff
We spent one night at Olakira Camp when it was at the Mara river. Beautiful location, perfect wilderness feel and very friendly staff. We even managed to see the Wildebeest migration cross the Mara river twice!!"

Top notch personalized service
We had been traveling for over 12 days on safari before we arrived to Matemwe Lodge for the last leg of our honeymoon trip in East Africa. The staff was superb in ensuring our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. The staff knew our names and checked in on us every day to see if we needed anything. When we returned from our day activities we were greeted with warm smiles and inquiries on how our day was. The food was excellent. All bungalows faced the ocean and the rooms were spacious. The staff was very accomodating. We wanted to spend a day shopping and exploring Stone Town and the package tour was 3 hours. We spoke to Sandy, who said it was no problem and arrange a car and guide to stay with us for as long as we wanted in Stone Town. We were able to stay for a sundowner in Stone Town before heading back to the Lodge. Wonderful staff, wonderful location, wonderful property. Highly reccomended.

Our Happy New Year Adventure!
My daughter and I were guests of Olakira during the second week of January, 2014. Our first impression was "Oh my, are we going to be okay?" Well, after 1 full day and night we were in love with it! Being put out in tent #8 out of 9 guests tents, and being pretty far away from the main camp, we needed to be brave and confident. We did just fine. It ended up being our favorite 3 days of our 4 country,16 day adventure. Our guide, Goodluck was great, and so were all of the staff, including our Maasai warrior who escorted us to our tent every night. The food is fantastic! The other guests we got to know at meal times were interesting and fun. And then there are the animals! I am still thinking about them 3 weeks later. I highly recommend staying at this camp. You will have everything you need and then some, and you will take home some fantastic memories! (By the way; I am 57 and my daughter is 26)."
