The Asilia Academy
Designing and selling East African safaris is no easy task and requires a huge amount of up-to-date product knowledge. One of the ways Asilia Africa supports our agent partners is through Asilia Academy, an online training platform designed by Africa specialists, intended to train other industry professionals on all things Asilia. This unique platform provides agents with the necessary tools to organise high quality, tailor-made itineraries to East Africa.
Asilia Academy is made up of a series of learning modules that have been split into 3 levels: Cheetah, Leopard and Lion. Each level gradually increases in length and difficulty.
Industry professionals work their way through each level, moving on only after an exam has been passed. As each level is completed, a digital accreditation and certificate is issued to that individual. These accreditations can be seen on your agent's email signature. An agent with a Lion level accreditation has invested approximately 30 hours of online learning and has passed over 18 exams. Asilia Africa considers recipients of Lion Level accreditation to be a true East Africa specialist.
