Cocktails with Asilia: Make your own at home
While we’re all spending time at home and keeping to ourselves, why not bring a small taste of Asilia into your homes? We’ve included the recipes below for a few of our favourite welcome drinks served up at our camps.
We've left the recipes nonalcoholic, but if you want, feel free to add your favourite spirit to any of these recipes for an alcoholic treat. Gather up your ingredients and give them a go!
Does anyone fancy a Kwihala Shandy? 🍹
Here’s what you’ll need: Sprite, ginger beer, orange juice and a dash of angostura bitter – serve chilled and enjoy!
Highlands’ Hibiscus Tea 🌺
So quick & easy you have got to try this at home. All you’ll need is Hibiscus ice tea; lemon juice; a touch of sweetener; and garnish with a lemon wheel – yum!
A Taste of Namiri 🐾
This one takes a little extra work but is well worth it, so give it a go. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Freshly squeezed lemon juice (30 ml)
- Freshly squeezed ginger juice (10 ml)
- Sugar syrup (30 ml)
- Soda water (30 ml)
Add in some ice, give it a stir, and garnish with a lemon wedge.
