Migration Monday Update
The FIRST major river crossing on the Kenyan side has begun!
Approximately 2,000 wildebeest and zebra crossed the Mara Triangle at the Lookout crossing point on the weekend.
The Loita migration was seen coming from the Loita Plains through Olkinyei Conservancy, heading towards the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The herds are currently roamingtheNaboishoConservancy.

Safari guide Ian Kiwelu captured the herds crossing point number 8 in the Mara River heading towards the Kenyan side.
Kevin was following the annual migration when he saw a large herd of the wildebeest roaming the Sand River.

With the current rains dropping every evening for the last few days in the Masai Mara. Part of the migrating wildebeest herds moved north-west of the Lookout Hill, while another herd is migrating in the north-east of the Lookout Hill area.

Serengeti North Wilderness Camp safari guide,Raymond Henry spotted the great migration crossing the Mara River at Kogatende.

There are huge crossings currently underwayat point number 4 in the Kogatende. The herds are crossing in the Northern Serengeti heading towards the Masai Mara.
