Great Migration Live Update – 07 January 2019

By Asilia Africa News | 07 January 2019

Lead safari guide Allen Mollel saw the great migration in the southern Serengeti heading towards the south-west of the Ndutu plains during his morning game drive.

Safari Guide Jamal Mzava and guests were treated to a view of thousands of wildebeest grazing close to the Nasikia Mobile Camp.

From the 01 December – 31 March, Nasikia Mobile Camp is situated in the Small Marsh special campsite. This location is close in the midst of the great wildebeest migration as they graze on the southern Serengeti Plains.

Mattigeyer captured the great herds in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

It is the calving season – prepare yourself for lots of wobbly babies and lots of heartbreak as predators swoop in.

Captian Masudi sighted thousands of herds from a bird’s eye in a hot air balloon over the Ndutu plains.
