Live Wildebeest Migration Update – 07 November 2016
Migration Monday Update
The migration is all over the place at the moment!
Early last week, we received reports of massive herds across the plains of Lookout Hill in the Masai Mara National Reserve.
However, we also received reports from Coastal Aviation pilot Captain Joel J Fernandes, who spotted scattered herds seen in the north near Kogatende and Lamai in the Serengeti National Park.
The highlight of the week was undoubtedly a massive 30,000 wildebeest Mara River crossing at crossing point four. Have a look at the crossing here, taken by Kim Evans of Timeless Africa Safaris while on safari at Lemala Kuria Hills.
Thank you to HerdTracker for this week’s update!
