Migration Monday Update

The herds are crossing the Mara River back and forth. Late last week we received reports from Asilia Africa guide Onesmus Irungu at Rekero Camp of good numbers crossing at the Mara River’s cul de sac crossing point. As well as big herds congregating at the Mara Triangle moving North into the Mara Reserve.

August is generally the best month to see the dramatic Mara River crossings in the Serengeti or Masai Mara. The wildebeest herds will continue their search for lush, greener grass and by doing so, attempt to cross the dangerous, crocodile infested water of the Mara River.

Thank you to HerdTracker for this week’s update!
