Migration Monday Update – 25 April 2016

Migration Monday Update
On Saturday, Regional Air pilots spotted large herds approximately 30 – 50 kilometres east, south east of the Seronera airstrip. They also spotted a smaller herd in the Lobo area.

As the month of May approaches, the herds will generally move quickly to the Serengeti’s western corridor. The two-to-three month old calves’ legs should be well developed by now and will need to feed less frequently, so bigger distances can be covered each day.
