Migration Monday Update

It is calving season! The majority of the herds are in Makao and Kusini. There are lots of newborn calves on the southern Serengeti plains, with many pregnant wildebeest still preparing to give birth. Olakira Camp | Asilia Africa is the answer if you want to experience the beauty of the calving season.

Meanwhile in Naboisho, The Loita herds are gathering up in Naboisho looking very pregnant. Thank you to our guide Timothy Leperes Laur who sent us these images of a newborn calf playing with it’s mother in the Naboisho Conservancy. It really is the perfect time to head on a Kenyan safari at Naboisho Camp | Asilia Africa!
