The wildebeest have arrived in the northern Serengeti and, although a little earlier than planned, Olakira Camp was waiting for them complete with a brand new look for the 2016 season.

So what’s new?

Olakira has always been our traditional, down-to-earth migration camp and, rest assured – it still is! We’ve simply freshened up the interiors, replaced the canvas and added new soft furnishings, ready to welcome you and share the outstanding migration viewing that surrounds the camp.

The main area has a brand new canvas lounge and dining tent, and the interiors have been completely re-designed to include new sofas, cushions and leather chairs in the lounge, as well as anew bar, library and coffee station.

The bedrooms have been updated with in-room mosquito nets, and adding to a lighter and brighter feel. We’ve also introduced a family tent into the mix too, as well as two interconnecting tents which share a bathroom between them.

Of course, the same friendly faces will always welcome you to Olakira Camp no matter what! We cannot wait to show you our upgraded camp and would love for you to join us in the Serengeti sometime.
