We had a great time at Acacia. We spent there 2 nights with our Kids. The staff was really lovely. We expected that the service will be good, but it was really excellent! With flowers and candles in the room after dinner. Frank and Emmy, you have been the best!
Also the guided tour to show us the garden with the vegetables, fruits and coffee - all of them we got to eat! A great philosophy of the lodge!
If you go to tanzania and don‘t stay at Acacia - you will miss a a lot!!!. - abelex2021
This resort is nestled between 2 great nature reserves, Ngorongoro Conservation area and Lake Manyara National Park, so it is a great place to stay for safari adventures.
There is a working farm on the property that provides the food for the meals. Meals are served in a variety of locations on the property, all with a gorgeous view. It was all very serene and peaceful.
There are a variety of wild, exotic birds on property that the staff is more than happy to identify for you, you can even go on a guided farm and nature walk on the property which was very enjoyable.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, from my personal private butler, Ezekiel, who was always a phone call away, guest services agent Pascal, and housekeeper Veronica, who took the time to write a handwritten note to me teaching some basic Swahili words and phrases. - Jon Goldberger
Well this was a two-night stay in room 6. I cannot say enough great things about the lodge and their staff. From the moment you pull up to the moment you drive away, they make you feel at home. I won’t give away the special treats along the way. Their rooms are huge! Beautiful! And well equipped. Our butler Festo was always there when we needed him. John, our room attendant went above and beyond. I thought I only saw towel animals on cruises, he put them to shame! Just amazing! The food was family-style each night all from their locally sourced foods grown right behind the kitchen. They even roast their own coffee!!! Beautiful pool and I got a wonderful massage too! Cute gift shop where we picked up a few items. I highly recommend this lodge on your way to the Serengeti. - Kurlisue19
