This idyllic property in the Nairobi suburb of Langata gives guests the chance to interact with the rare and beautiful Rothschild’s giraffe. Built in 1932, at the peak of the safari era, Giraffe Manor has been a safe haven for our long-necked companions since the 1970s. A peaceful spot in the fast-expanding Kenyan capital, Giraffe Manor sits on five hectares of private land within nearly 60 hectares of indigenous forest.
Giraffes often amble out of the forest across the green lawns to meet and greet Manor guests. The building is covered in evergreen creepers, blending into its surroundings. The terrace is a lovely spot from which to enjoy a classic high tea and marvel at the friendly creatures.

Giraffe Manor was absolutely magical and will be a stay we will never forget. The staff is top notch and could not have been more attentive. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the unexpected warthogs were a bonus with the giraffes. Our room was lovely, We will be back! - 255holly
