Update from Micheal Thomas
Safari guide Micheal Thomas was ecstatic to witness Mara River crossing at Point number 8.
Hundreds of wildebeest were captured moving from the Kuka Hills and Bologonja area heading towards the Gardenia Valley. However, safari guides in the Western Serengeti reported, there is a large herd of the wildebeest and zebra in the Grumeti River on their journey to the Northern Serengeti.
A large herd of the Loita Migration was seen in the Naboisho Conservancy heading towards the Olare Motorogi plains.
The Mara Naboisho Conservancy serves as a migration corridor for several hundred thousand animals between the Masai Mara National Reserve and the Loita Plains to the east.
Thank you to Herd Tracker for this week’s update!
