8 day driving adventure in Kenya

Don’t be fooled by the length of this safari, it may be short, but it packs a punch combining two of Kenya’s most iconic destinations - The Rift Valley and The Masai Mara!

Kenya’s Rift Valley is just one small section of a vast fault line that runs right through the Middle East and Africa. The Rift Valley’s shifting tectonic plates have sculpted the landscape into towering peaks, open savannas, and exceptional lakes. The first half of this itinerary allows for the exploration of Lake Naivasha, a vast freshwater lake that supports a great diversity of plains game as well as more than 400 species of bird. There are no predators present around Lake Naivasha and this makes it easy and safe to arrange a variety of excursions such as boating safaris, walking safaris and horseback riding. Lake Naivasha is a lovely introduction to Kenya’s wildlife and works best when combined with another area of the country, such as the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara needs no introduction – Kenya’s flagship safari destination is home to an abundance of wildlife and is renowned for delivering exceptional big cat (lion, leopard, and cheetah) sightings.

This itinerary is perfect for anyone who is interested in a short, affordable vacation that combines diverse environments and gives the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of activities. We have handpicked lodges in fantastic locations so that you can be sure that you are getting the very best experience and value for your money.
