Sustainability in Tarangire
The Tarangire River is a permanent water source that attracts game from surrounding areas, resulting in one of the highest densities of wildlife anywhere during the dry season. Growing human populations and unregulated agricultural expansion are increasingly encroaching into the Tarangire ecosystem. Our support is directed at easing human-wildlife conflict and education by contributing to a collaboration called the Northern Tanzania Rangelands Initiative, which is creating long-lasting transformational changes across this landscape.
