Disney’s latest remake of The Lion King premieres this month. The fresh take on Disney’s seventh highest-grossing film of all time has audiences around the world waiting in anticipation.
We are immensely proud to say that Asilia was Disney’s partner when their team filmed on location in Kenya earlier this year. We flew them around for more than 2 weeks, guided by Asilia’s pro-guide and manager Roelof Schutte. The Disney team shot a diverse range of locations including the Aberdares, Lake Magadi, Northern Kenya, Mt Kenya and of course the Maasai Mara.
As Asilia, we are incredibly proud of our history in being involved as partners in the logistics of many groundbreaking wildlife documentaries and films. In the past, we have been closely involved in the filming of the BBC’s Big Cat Diaries and The Hunt, National Geographic’s Little E, and Disney Nature’s African Cats documentary, too.
Our camps, expert guides, and local wildlife and landscapes have played host to these incredible pieces of work, and we would love to welcome you to experience them for yourself. Warm hospitality, exceptional guiding, and remarkable locations are the essence of our safaris along with a strong commitment to empowering crucial wilderness areas, benefitting people and nature alike.
