The lodge is a series of "cottages" set in a park-like setting in a working coffee plantation. The "cottages" are 1000 to 1200 sq. ft. with large living room, king size bed, generous bathroom and large front porch. The units are air-conditioned. The unites are nicely furnished, clean and very comfortable. Dining is in the main house. You have the choices of eating on the veranda overlooking the large yard, or indoors. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful and seemed to enjoy hosting your visit. I am only sorry that we did not schedule an extra day to enjoy the facility and relax. This facility is located at the foot of Mount Meru on the NE side of Arusha. Quick access to Arusha airport and downtown Arusha. - Jim Z

If you are traveling to one of the national parks in Tanzania, then make sure you stay at this amazing lodge in Arusha. It is absolutely fabulous. Lovely setting, great food and wonderful, wonderful staff. I felt truly lucky that my wife arranged to stay at this lodge for my big birthday! The staff helped make It extremely special. This place is beyond amazing. All rooms have some type of view of Mt. Meru. Sunrise with Mt. Meru in the background with clouds hovering just below the peak is awesome.
