Beginning in Nairobi, the journey heads southeast into Tsavo West National Park, known for its volcanic hills, natural springs and wide-ranging wildlife. From here, continue to Amboseli, where open plains and seasonal wetlands attract large herds of elephant beneath the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Itinerary Details
- Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
- Transfer to your hotel
- Overnight at Tamarind Tree Hotel or Eden Nairobi
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel for an overnight stay.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing after your journey and preparing for your safari adventure beginning the following morning.

After breakfast, meet your private guide and depart Nairobi in your dedicated safari vehicle, travelling southeast towards Tsavo West National Park. The drive offers a fascinating transition from city to countryside, passing through local towns and open landscapes along the way.
On arrival, settle into your lodge before heading out on your first game drive. Tsavo West is characterised by rugged volcanic terrain, lava flows and natural springs, creating a unique and varied safari environment.
Wildlife sightings may include elephant, lion, buffalo and a variety of plains game, while the park’s diverse habitats support an impressive array of birdlife. Visits to features such as Mzima Springs offer the chance to observe hippo and crocodile in crystal-clear waters.
Over the following days, enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with your guide, exploring different areas of the park and taking in its dramatic scenery.

After breakfast, continue your journey by road to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time to settle into your lodge and enjoy lunch.
Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. The park’s open plains, marshlands and seasonal lakes create ideal conditions for wildlife viewing, attracting a variety of species throughout the year.
Game drives focus on exploring these diverse habitats, with opportunities to encounter elephant, lion, cheetah and an abundance of birdlife. Early mornings and late afternoons provide the best light for photography, with Kilimanjaro often visible as the clouds lift.
