You’ll start with a night in Nairobi before flying to your private house in the bush, where you’ll have exclusive access to some of the best wildlife viewing areas on the continent. You’ll spend three days exploring the picturesque savannahs, looking for the Big Five and other incredible wildlife species.
Then, you’ll fly to a pristine beach on the Kenya Coast, where you can relax on the white sandy beaches, swim in the turquoise waters, and enjoy the warm hospitality Kenya is renowned for. You’ll have three days to unwind, soak up the sun, or make the most of water-based activities including snorkelling, fishing, or sailing in a traditional dhow.

- We will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi and welcome you to Kenya
- Overnight at House of Waine, or Giraffe Manor
When you land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a friendly Asilia driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After a long flight, you can rest well and dream of the fantastic safari adventures that await you the next day. Welcome to Kenya, the land of wildlife and wonder.
- Fly to either the El Karama Wildlife Conservancy or Segera Wildlife Conservancy
- Overnight at El Karama Lodge or Segera Retreat
After a peaceful night’s sleep at your Nairobi hotel, we will transfer you to Wilson Airport to catch a flight to the Laikipia Plateau. If you are on the Reserve itinerary, you will connect with another flight to Segera Airstrip. If you are on the Classic itinerary, a friendly guide will greet you at the airstrip and transfer you to the El Karama Conservancy.
Both Hobbit House at El Karama and the Family Villa at Segera Retreat, offer a luxurious and private space, where you can plan your exciting daily safari adventures to suit the pace of your family. If you have small children, you may opt for shorter drives to suit shorter attention spans, with teenagers you can venture out all day with a picnic lunch in search of big cats. However your days unfold, you’ll have an unforgettable time as a family exploring the stunning landscapes and wildlife of these private conservancies with your personal vehicle and guide. Back at the lodge, all of your needs will be catered to by a dedicated team including a manager, chef and waiter.
After three unforgettable days in the bush, you and your family will fly to the warm tropical waters of the Indian Ocean for relaxation and fun.

This morning, you will be heading back to the airstrip for your flight to the tropics of the Kenya coast, famed for pristine beaches, warm waters to swim in and a rich blend of culture and history. Spend your days soaking up the sunshine, snorkelling, diving or swimming in the warm Indian Ocean waters, sailing on traditional dhows and feasting on the fresh fruit, seafood and produce on offer at your lodge.
The family friendly coastline is perfect for leisurely walks on the pristine white sands of Africa’s tropical east coast. There are a variety of water sports available, and even camel rides can be enjoyed on the beach, or perhaps a massage for those looking to relax. Whichever itinerary option you choose, your beach break can be as active or as relaxed as you wish.

Feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, enjoy a final delicious breakfast accompanied by the serene ocean waves lapping on the shore before packing your bags. You’ll fly back to Wilson Airport and transfer to the international airport by private vehicle, where you will check in for your flight home, filled with memories of an unforgettable bush and beach family holiday.
