We have combined this extraordinary destination with the world famous Maasai Mara, followed by a taste of Northern Kenya, for the ultimate Kenya safari experience.
Flying between each area minimises travel time, allowing you to pack a lot into a 10-day itinerary. In addition to traditional game drives, you’ll find plenty of available activities to suit all interests. The more active traveller can enjoy hiking, walking safaris, and game viewing in unique locations. For travellers who prefer a slower pace, the camps offer stargazing, fascinating visits to local Maasai communities, and fabulously romantic sundowners in spectacular settings.

Itinerary Details

On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by an Asilia driver who will transfer you by private vehicle to Wilson Airport, the domestic flying hub. Fly from here to either Amboseli or the Chyulu Hills, both approximately 55 minutes away.
Beneath the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, the plains of Amboseli National Park have become one of the most famous locations in East Africa for photographing elephants. Offering rich biodiversity and a wilde variety of both mammals and birds, Amboseli is a sought-after destination in southern Kenya. Between Tsavo West and Amboseli, the Chyulu Hills National Park is one of Kenya’s least developed national parks. It is a unique habitat that features vast grass plains, forested rolling hills, and rugged volcanic craters set against the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
A guide from the lodge will meet you at the airstrip and game drive you back to camp, where you can enjoy lunch and relax in the comfort of your tent. In the mid-afternoon, set off on your first game drive to explore this beautiful landscape.

Experience the thrill of morning and afternoon safari activities in the beautiful wilds of Amboseli and the Chyulu Hills. Choose from activities such as guided bush walks, shared game drives, extinct lava tube exploration (Chyulu Hills), Maasai village visits, night game drives, and excellent bird watching. This safari is a wildlife lover’s paradise with the chance to see elephant, eland, leopard, bush pig, reedbuck, buffalo, and giraffe up close.

This morning, after your final breakfast in camp, you will be driven to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi, where you will connect with your onward flight to the Maasai Mara.
A guide from the camp will meet you at the airstrip and then game-drive you back to camp, offering the perfect introduction to the vast savannah plains and stopping to watch any wildlife you encounter along the way. Settle into your comfortable accommodation, enjoy a delicious lunch, followed by the opportunity to relax and familiarise yourself with the new surroundings. After afternoon tea and delicious cake, head off on a game drive to search for big cats and other captivating wildlife.

Enjoy your camp’s shared morning and afternoon activities and explore the Maasai Mara with an experienced guide. The area is home to a magnificent variety of wildlife, including good populations of lion, leopard, cheetah, herds of elephant and buffalo, and much more. Spend your safari days on game drives, walking safaris (Bateleur Camp), or cultural visits to the local Maasai communities.

On the Comfort and Classic circuits, you’ll be met at Kalama Airstrip and transferred to the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, where both Elephant Bedroom Camp and Soroi Larsens offer panoramic views of Samburu landscape and wildlife. Elephant Bedroom Camp offers just 14 tent, each adorned with vibrant African touches and equipped with modern comforts for a seamless connection between nature and luxury. The boutique Soroi Larsens offers personalised attention and a feel of exclusivity, as well as an underground photographic hide for extraordinary wildlife photography.
Immerse yourself in culture through an authentic interaction and visit with the proud Samburu people, offering a glimpse into their rich traditions and way of life. Enjoy game drives, bush walks, and bird watching.
On the Reserve circuit, your stay is at Suyian Lodge, a luxurious sanctuary in the Suyian Conservancy. Home to more than 100 mammal species, the conservancy is a living conservation model that combines regenerative land practices with meaningful community partnerships. Keep a look-out for unique species such as the black (melanistic) leopard, African wild dogs, Grevy’s zebra, and the reticulated giraffe. Explore the conservancy on foot, by horseback, or in the company of camels and their herders. Game drives allow for a wider field of exploration, while community visits create a deeper sense of connection.
- Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport via Wilson Airport
After enjoying a final breakfast in the wild, pack your bags and meet your guide for a short game drive back to the airstrip. You will fly by light aircraft to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. Upon arrival, an Asilia driver will wait for you to transfer you to the international airport, approximately an hour’s drive away, depending on traffic, where you can check in for your flight back home.
