Let us take you on a behind-the-scenes look at our guide training programme. Follow some of our trainee guides as they learn the ropes and get to grips with what it takes to be an Asilia guide…

In addition to learning about wildlife and ecosystems, our guides are fully trained in vehicle maintenance and various other important skills.

Big cats and little creatures – our guides are trained to know all about the biggest animals in Africa as well as the smallest ones too!

Asilia guides are taught to read the African plains and get the most out of what is on offer in any environment.

Safety is extremely important to our guides; their training covers how to handle, and when to use, a firearm.

Our guides receive thorough training on the fascinating flora and fauna that are so special to the areas we work in.

Our trainee guides know how to unwind with a bit of fun after a hard days work, here they are taking a break from our training programme in Tarangire to pose for a picture.

We are so proud of all our guides, both those who are working in the field already and those that are just starting out. All it takes is that first step, the possibilities are endless.
