DAYS 1 – 3
Kwihala Camp, Ruaha National Park
Begin your walking adventure in the iconic Ruaha National Park, where remarkable concentrations of wildlife roam the diverse landscape of baobab trees, open plains and woodland valleys. Discover the area on foot from intimate Kwihala, a traditional tented camp defined by simple excellence.
Onsea House, Arusha
Just outside Arusha on the drive from Kilimanjaro Airport is Onsea House. Owner-managed and run, the house has an intimate and friendly feel. Add to this the superb staff and a reputation for culinary excellence and Onsea House is a wonderful place to spend your first night in Tanzania.
DAYS 5 & 6
Little Oliver’s Camp, Tarangire National Park
Situated in the remote southeastern reaches of Tarangire, Little Oliver’s is perfectly positioned to make the most of the strikingly unspoilt wilderness. Spend your days walking through vast forests of baobabs and vibrant grasslands, home to vast herds of elephant and buffalo.
DAYS 7 – 9
Namiri Plains, Eastern Serengeti
Walk among the big cats in the grasslands of the Eastern Serengeti, an area that was closed to tourists for 20 years before Asilia became the custodian in 2014. Enjoy unrivalled sightings of the apex predators in exceptional privacy from cool and elegant Namiri Plains Camp.
The Great Migration (Accessible from November to June)
DAYS 10 – 12
Continue your exploration of the Serengeti on the beautiful and unspoilt northern plains from award-winning Sayari Camp. Set close to the famous Lamai Wedge and Mara River, the camp offers extraordinary wildlife encounters year round, on foot or from a vehicle.
The Great Migration (July/August – November)
Your last day at Sayari Camp,
Depending on your arrangements, enjoy a final game drive or walk deep in the wilderness before transferring to the airstrip for the next part of your journey.
